DR. ROBERT D. (BOB) MCINTYRE

DR. ROBERT D. (BOB) MCINTYRE Q.C., B.A., J.D., L.L.M. from London, England Passed away on November 30, 2012 at Brampton Civic Hospital at the age of 73. Will be dearly missed by his beloved wife Louana J. MCIntyre (nee Armstrong). Cherished by his children Scott and his wife Deborah, and Kyle and his wife Tamara. Proud grandfather to Brianna, Bryce, Eric, Paige and Sarah. Dear brother to Gord and his wife Michelle, and Ian. Adored by his nieces Dr. Lynn MCIntyre, Sally MCIntyre, Julie MCIntyre, Eve Pilkington and nephew Glenn MCIntyre. A special thank you is extended to his nieces Eve and her husband Tom Pilkington and Dr. Lynn MCIntyre for all their support during Bob's medical transitions. Thank you to Bob's brother-in-law Gord Melvin for all his help and support. A special thank you to Richard Hess for his assistance in creating the memorial tribute. Thank you to the staff at the Brampton Civic Hospital - William Osler Health Centre for their dedication and care. Bob dedicated much of his life to the Brampton Community; some of his involvement included President and Director of 17 Brampton organizations, President of Brampton Rotary Club, President of Brampton Flower Town Probus Club, founding President of Brampton Branch - Canadian Diabetes Association and founding member of the Brampton Farmers Market. In memory of Bob, a Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at the Emmanuel United Church (420 Balmoral Drive, Brampton) at 10 o'clock with a reception to follow.
