ROBERT MCMILLAN Served overseas in the Royal Canadian Signal Corps during WWII. Longtime member of St. George's Anglican Church in Newcastle and former member of St. Philip the Apostle Anglican Church. Passed away peacefully on November 19, 2012 in his 88th year . Predeceased by his loving wife and best friend for 57 years Elaine. Proud and dear father of Janis and her husband John Miller of Collingwood, MaryLynn and her husband Richard Stevens of Ajax and Phil MCMillan and his wife Lynn of Whitby. Sadly missed by grandchildren Bryan and Graham Miller, Shane and Kyle Stevens, Cerene MCMillan and great-grandchildren Brody and Avery Miller. Brother of Helen, Dorothy, Bill, Alan and George (predeceased). A memorial visitation will be held at NEWCASTLE FUNERAL HOME, 386 Mill St. S. (just north of 401 at first lights) on Friday, November 23rd from 7 to 9 p.m. A memorial funeral service will take place at St. George's Anglican Church, 250 Mill St. S., Newcastle, on Saturday, November 24th at 11 a.m. Parking is available at the funeral home during the funeral service.
