Rosabelle Jane Grace Barron

BARRON, Rosabelle Jane Grace 'Rose' (nee Forbes) - In her 102nd year at Houses of Providence, Toronto, on Monday, October 18, 2010. Her lifelong home was 32 Red Deer Avenue, Toronto (Scarborough). Rose, beloved wife of the late Arthur Thirlway (1959) and the late Robert Barron (2004). Generously and kindly cared for by Robert's children Ann and John Simms of Ottawa; Mickey Renders and Peter Barron of Peterborough. Dear sister of Kenneth and his wife Mae Forbes (both deceased) and the families of Arthur Thirlway's sisters: Edith Thirlway (deceased), Doris John (Toronto) and Marjorie Heaton (California). Loving aunt Rose of Terry Eckert, Susan Eckert, Heaton families of California and Janet Forbes of Toronto. Former employee of the Independent Order of Foresters Insurance and longtime member of the Anglican Church of St. Nicholas. Rose was born in Wiarton on May 13, 1909 and although the last few years have been very difficult, it was a life filled with much fun and love on her part; she will be missed. Thanks must be given for the care received on the 3rd floor Cedar, Houses of Providence. Rose took incredible joy from animals, especially cats, it would be appreciated if any remembrance tributes be given to the Toronto Humane Society or other Animal Welfare oragnizations. Funeral Services will be held in the SHERRIN FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND TRIBUTE CENTRE CHAPEL, 873 Kingston Road, 416-698-2861 (West of Victoria Park Ave.) on Saturday, October 23, 2010 at 11 a.m. (Visitation one hour prior to services) Interment Resthaven Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
