NOTTEN, Tim - A truly unique husband, father and friend passed away peacefully on December 31, 2012 at St. Joseph's Medical Centre in Hamilton. Together with his beautiful bride Harriet, Tim journeyed from his homeland of the Netherlands to start a life in Canada in 1957, where his generosity and boundless affection for others touched many lives for 88 years. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 55 years, Harriet, and their three children: Lynn, Mark and his wife Loretta, John and his wife Luana. Opa will be fondly remembered by his "Crazy 8s": Lydia, Julianna, Zachary, Joshua, Katrina, Jacob, Nicholas and Lukas. Tim's legacy will be cherished by many relatives in Holland and Canada. Friends and family are invited to honour Tim's life with a funeral mass in the Chapel at St. Elizabeth Village at 393 Rymal Road West, Hamilton at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 3rd, 2013. There will be a reception at the Trillium Clubhouse in St. Elizabeth Village with interment to follow at 3:00 p.m. at Resurrection Cemetery, Ancaster.
