VARICK CHARLES MARTIN

VARICK CHARLES MARTIN Passed away peacefully, in his sleep, on November 26, 2012 at Castleview Wychwood Towers. He had been ill with Alzheimer's for some time. Predeceased by his parents and his brother Jim. Charles, a Newfoundlander, was a structural steel ironworker for Local 721 for over 60 years (retired). Sadly missed by his sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews, who are scattered throughout British Columbia, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Ontario and the USA. He was always willing to give a helping hand to whoever needed it or asked for it. He will be greatly missed by his Canadian friends, Edna and many others. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter "Yorke" Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., Toronto (at Windermere, east of Jane subway) on Thursday, November 29, 2012 for a visitation from 6-8 p.m. A Graveside Service will be held at Prospect Cemetery on Friday, November 30, 2012 at 10 a.m. For those who wish, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
