Dr. William Reginald SEDORE

SEDORE, Dr. William Reginald "Rex" - Peacefully and surrounded by his family at River Glen Haven Nursing Home in Sutton West on Sunday, February 16, 2014 in his 89th year. Rex Sedore, husband of the late Lois (nee Marritt) and beloved father of Stephen and his wife Penny of Aurora, Robert and his wife Leslie of Jacksons Point and John and his wife Heather McGill of Richmond, BC. Proud grandfather of Mark, Lauren, Kim (Chris), Rob (Caitie) and Blake and great- grandfather of Clare. Rex is survived by his sisters Jeanette Shanks and Isabel Sinclair. Rex was a World War II veteran and saw active service overseas with the tank corps of the Sherbrooke Fusiliers Regiment. He was a dentist in private practice in Aurora for 40 years and served on the Board of Governors of the Ontario Dental Association. "Doc" was for many years an innovative leader of 1st Aurora Scouts. A Memorial Service will be held at the Aurora United Church, 15186 Yonge St., Aurora, on Friday, February 21, 2014 at 1:30 p.m., with visitation from 12 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Southlake Regional Health Centre Foundation would be appreciated.
