Rest in Peace Uncle Joe.
I'll always cherish the few moments we had together.
I always wished we had spent more time together.

Joe will be missed and remembered by a lot of people, especially seeing his friendly face at Church. He was always very kind to me, my late Mom Norah Bayer, and my daughter Nicole. A very loving man. He always had time for a joke, or to show us one of his magic tricks. Rest Well Joe. Sincere condolences to Pearl and family. Bev and Nicole Ralph, Toronto.

We can't imagine Forest Hill Church without the magician. He was the first one we met and he always remembered us. Our thoughts are with you Pearl and family. Love from Murray and Petra (Daniel Norman's parents).

Sunday mornings were made brighter because Joe was there. I will miss the magic and the banter. Joe, may you be at peace and finally able to hear what you could not for so many years.

To Pearl and family:

Joe's former colleagues from DRG Packaging want to express their condolences. Joe was so well liked by his fellow employees. One rarely walked away without a smile.

Joe will be missed by his absence in Forest Hill UC; Sunday mornings will not be the same without him.
He loved to set up the coffee table in the parlour, entertain any child who came in with his magic coin tricks.
Joe was always there, he always had something to say, and he was a real character in his own right.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Pearl and his family at this lonely time, God bless them.

Joe will be greatly missed. His humour, his smile and most of all his willingness to help where he saw the need. I'll never forget his bright yellow jacket and, of course, his slight of hand magic tricks. He will live on in our memories.

Joe was a kind and warm person and will be missed. God's continued blessings for his wife Pearl, as she goes through this time of sorrow
