John was a fun, loving, joyous man. What great stories he had and was always ready for a good laugh. His love for life lives on in his four strong children and seven wonderful grandchildren. Here's to you, John - you are missed and loved.

Wonderful memories of your Dad. He was upbeat, positive and always had a humourous comment to interject. He had some great stories of growing up in Holland.
I am so sorry I can not attend the memorial service but I will be thinking of all of you, wishing you peace, comfort and keeping you in my prayers.

So many good memories of your dad. I remember him chasing me down late at night in his car when I was going to walk home and he wouldn't allow it. He was also very proud of how hard he worked to make something of himself. He was a good man, our thoughts are with all of you.
