SOLVEIGA MIEZITIS Obituary

SOLVEIGA MIEZITIS (nee VITOLS) 1937 - 2015 We are saddened to let you know that our very dear and charismatic mother passed away on July 30, 2015 in Riga, Latvia after the onset of a sudden illness. She was predeceased by her husband Zigurds and will be greatly missed by her son Andris and daughters Dace (Dainis) Rungis and Ilze (Andris) Matiss and her grandchildren Kaiva, Meta and Zile Rungis and Emils and Marisa Matiss. Her loss will also be felt by her friends, family and colleagues in Canada, Latvia and abroad. Please join us in remembering and honouring Solveiga at a concert of song and dance on Sunday, October 25th at 1:30 p.m. at St. John's Latvian Lutheran Church, 200 Balmoral Ave., Toronto. All welcome!
