The Liscio family -- I had the pleasure of knowing and working with Rocco during his and my time on the Board of WPTC in Vancouver. He was a friend that will be missed by many. My deepest condolences.

Rocco, was a rare breed of person, pleasant, buoyant, kind, yet determined, motivated and dominant. When you combine that with his intelligence and humor, he was someone that I truly admired and liked. I wish I had the opportunity to spend more time with him. I enjoyed working alongside him. He is missed by us all.

I am deeply shocked and sadden to hear the news of Rocco's passing. I reported to Rocco during his days at Wang and he was a great guy to work for. His professionalism, work ethic and sense of humour made working with him very pleasurable. He will be greatly missed by all.

Gail and Family –
I knew Rocco as a colleague from when I worked at Price Waterhouse way back in the late 80s. Back then I knew he was a ‘class act’. Always treated people with respect and was a very open and down to earth human being. I was shocked to see the news of his passing in the Toronto Star this morning. Such a fine man who was taken too early.

It is so difficult to put into words the feelings we have when someone so great has been taken from us. Rocco was a genuine and warm individual. He made us laugh and it felt wonderful to be his friend. I know he is with us right now feeling the love and outpouring of emotions his legacy has left behind. I will not think of him as gone but that a little bit of him is now in everyone of us bringing us closer to the understanding that life is precious and we need to embrace it as much as possible. Dear Gail, Madison and Taylor, I've been walking around in a daze of disbelief the last few days and I can't even imagine what you are going through. I had the pleasure of working with Rocco at LePage and Richard's Packaging. We stayed friends and golfing buddies ever since. I still remember when Rocco brought Taylor and Madison to my office at TGO while in the middle of a challenging system implementation at Richard's Packaging. My name is Foun-Lee; I am a Sales Consultant at ELTE Furniture Store. I met with Mr. Rocco Liscio for the very first time on Wednesday, February 9th. around 4:30 in the afternoon. I was totally shocked to see the announcement in the newspaper yesterday that he has passed away so suddenly.
Mr. Liscio came in our store looking for some sofa or sectional. He stayed in our showroom for about half an hour. I had a very lovely time chatting with him. Rocco struck me as a very gentle, distinguished, successful, high spirit, warm, and fun loving person in such a short time we met. I couldn’t imagine how devastated and hurt your families are going through right now. I just want to let you all know that what a lovely impression Rocco had made on a total stranger on his last day. Please accept my sincere condolence.

I had the pleasure to meet and work with Rocco sometime ago at Richards Packaging while working as consultant at TGO Consulting. From that time forward, we kept in touch from time to time over coffee. I truly thought of Rocco as a professional mentor and looked up to him for all his accomplishments. He was a remarkable human being.

Although I know Rocco mostly via our daughter's friendship, Rocco also struck me as a sincere, caring person who has a beautiful family. We coached soccer together one summer and I regret not knowing him better since he is a special person to have as a friend.
