JACK STRACHAN

JACK STRACHAN Peacefully at Milton District Hospital on Thursday, July 16, 2015, at the age of 83 years. Loving husband of Jean for 58 years. Much loved father of Elaine Stover (Paul) and Douglas Strachan (Maria). Beloved Grandpa and Papa of Craig, Scott and Nicholas. Jack is the brother of Marcus and the late Leon Strachan. He will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Jack retired after 25 years of service as an Electrician with Via Rail. He was very proud of his time spent in various capacities with the Canadian and Ontario Soccer Associations. A heartfelt thank you to the staff of Milton District Hospital for all of their care and support. Family and friends are invited to visit at the McKERSIE-KOCHER FUNERAL HOME, 114 Main St. E., Milton, 905-878-4452, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, July 21, 2015. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. As expressions of sympathy, donations in memory of Jack, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the Milton District Hospital Foundation or to the Ontario Lung Association.
