I attend Allen Stanley's hockey camp back in the early 1970's when I was still a young boy. He was a very nice man and it was a privilege to get to spend some time around him. RIP, Mr. Stanley.

Many years ago, Alan was a neighbour of mine in Toronto. Often, on his way to practice in the morning, he would drive me to Jarvis Collegiate. He was a lovely, thoughtful man.
