Colin, a mentor to so many people who wanted to learn about the raptors! A man who willingly shared his knowledge and who encouraged those of us who were *slower learners*. A man who, on those slower raptor days, was not totally against the *dickie birds* and could name them all!!
Colin you will not only be missed by family but by the many people you met in the birding world and all of those for whom you had kind and encouraging words. You brightened the day for so many people!
My condolences to your family.
Rest in peace my friend, and now you will soar with the raptors!

Colin will be deeply missed. I enjoyed his frequent raptor related emails and identification tips, specially the silhouette puzzles. A great guy and friend..

A person that departs from this earth never truly leaves, for they are still alive in our hearts and minds, through us, they live on. Please accept our condolences, he will not be forgotten.

Colin
No one can say that anyone loved raptors(birds of prey) more than you.
You brought hard work, and humor and generosity to the park everyday you arrived.
