GERSHMAN, Bernard (Bernie) - On Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. Bernard Gershman, beloved husband of the late Helen Gershman. Loving father and father- in-law of Janis Gershman and Bryon Czarnik, Paula and Karl Lederman, and Harold and Susan Gershman. Dear brother of Bess Friedman and the late Arthur Gershman. Devoted Zaidy of Natalie and Jared, Andrew, Michael, Jennifer, and Rachel. He will be sadly missed by relatives and friends. At Benjamin's Park Memorial Chapel, 2401 Steeles Avenue West (3 lights west of Dufferin) for service on Friday, January 14, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. Interment the Kiever Synagogue Section of Mt. The loss of a beloved moves through us as a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch, we may not understand why he left this earth so soon, or why he left before you were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, begin to remember not just that he died, but that he lived.
