Dear Phyllis and family,
I knew Howard from Easminster United Church. He was very pleasant to talk to and he would sometimes tell me about his theatre involvement at the church. I remember thinking what wonderful rich experience he must have had and I regret not asking him more about it. He had a very rich life, I think, and that is a blessing. My sincere condolences. Diane Brockman.

Even though you Howard left us, your warmly loving heart and spirit will be dearly remembered by my family you touched and especially by my kids, Matthew, Joanna, Sophia and Joshua. Surely, you were like a grandfather to them. You were a mature Christian God belssed.
You will be sadly missed by all the people you shared together.
Have perfect comfort and peace in the realm of God.

Howard was an inspiration to many young folk at Eastminster where he was the driving force behind the Eastminster Players. Through his love of theatre he gave us a place to develop our acting ability, our friendships and an outlet for our hijinks which he took with good humour - his bark was much worse than his bite! We would all end up with a candy! We all thought Howard was wonderful and will miss him immensely.

A wonderful man. He was like a father to me, always helpful, always encouraging. He led an exemplary life and anyone who knew him loved him.

May all the wonderful memories you shared together as a family and with friends help to work through the sadness of "Uncle" Howard's passing. He will be dearly missed.
