Peter JANETOS Obituary

JANETOS, Peter John, M.D. - Peacefully at Mt. Sinai Hospital on Wednesday, January 8, 2014, after a short illness. Peter was predeceased by his partner Charles Worz. Beloved son of the late John and Bessie. Loving brother of Mary, and predeceased by Verna, Sophie, Jimmy and Chris. Peter will be sadly missed and always remembered by his many nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by Earlaine Collins. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES CHAPEL LIMITED, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Sunday. Service will be held at ALL SAINTS GREEK ORTHODOX CHURCH, 222 Burbank Drive on Monday morning at 11 o'clock. Private interment on Tuesday at Oshawa Union Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to the Sunnybrook Foundation, 2075 Bayview Avenue, Toronto M4N 3M5 or the Salvation Army, 2 Overlea Boulevard, Toronto M4H 1P4. Peter was a patient of ours at the Accolde Dental Centre. He was such a sweet and kind man. We truly loved him. Please except our condolences .

I was a classmate of Peter's in Medical school. Unfortunately I lost contact with him in recent years. I remember him as a delightful person, friendly to all and exhibiting a real sense of humour. I am saddened to hear of his passing.

I am so saddened to learn of Peter's death. He was such a kind, delightful man with an infectious laugh and wicked sense of humour.

Peter lived with our family in London while at Western and was loved particularly by my parents. His siblings were always welcome visitors
