READ, Alfred 'Fred' William - Promoted to glory, peacefully on February 14, 2011 at the Trillium Health Care Centre at the age of 90 years. Beloved husband of the late Marjory Grace (nee Morgan). Loving father of Carole and the late Bryan Winteler and Bronwyn and Andy Amanovich. Adoring Poppa of Cheryl, Scott (Kerri-Jean), Yelena and Katalina. Proud Pappa-Read to Matthew, David, Sarah, Hannah, Travis and Clayton. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Friends may call at the Andrews Community Funeral Centre, 8190 Dixie Road, Brampton (north of Steeles Ave.), 905-456-8190, on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at The Salvation Army Mississauga Temple Community Church, 3173 Cawthra Road (north of Dundas) on Friday, February 18, at 11 a.m. Family and friends will gather one hour prior at the church. Private burial to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Mississauga Temple or the M.S. Society Lakeshore Mississauga Chapter would be appreciated by the family. I will never forget the many good times we had at West Toronto Corps years ago. Fred was an inspiration to many folk and will be missed by everyone.
