GOULD, Allan - Allan Gould died suddenly of a brain aneurysm February 21, 2013 in the midst of a productive, creative and loving life. His greatest pleasures were his family and friends. Allan's curious, agile mind was engaged in many passions: theatre, film, music, baseball, swimming, the Jewish people and Israel and, above all, doing mitzvot. He loved to entertain and was an inspiring teacher. Allan gave joy to all who were privileged to know him. He is survived by his wife Merle Benjamin Gould, his children Judah Gould and Julia Levin and Elisheva Gould, his brother and sister-in-law Murray and Ellen Gould, his brothers- and sisters-in- law Avi and Phyllis Benjamin, Stephen and Gayle Benjamin, his nieces and nephews whom he loved and who loved him in return. Allan was a mensch of the highest order. He will be missed by his many many friends and by all those whose lives he touched. Funeral arrangements and shiva: Steeles Memorial, 905-881-6003.
