PARRY, Allison Nellie Diane (nee Button) - 1947 - 2013 Diane passed away at the Credit Valley Hospital, Mississauga on April 18, 2013 after a hard fought battle with numerous health challenges. Diane was born in St. John's, Newfoundland on April 22, 1947 to Clarence and Allison (Taylor) Button. Diane was a gifted soprano and pianist. After graduating from Memorial University Diane pursued a teaching career. Her first teaching position was in St. John's and later she taught in PEI, Toronto and Mississauga, Ontario. In 1975 Diane married Alan Parry. They later built a home and settled in Mississauga where they raised their son Paul. Diane was involved in a number of choirs and many of Paul's activities including Scouting. Left with fond memories of her kind and loving spirit are her son Paul, sister Janet Hudson and family, sisters-in-law Gwen MCWhinnie (Al) and Peggy Gilbert (Maurice), numerous cousins, Alan's extended family and friends. Diane was predeceased by her parents, husband Alan (September 15, 2012) and all her aunts and uncles. A Memorial service was held April 26th at St. Peter's Anglican Church, Erindale, Mississauga, Ontario. Interment to take place at Gadsby Omega Cemetery in Alberta where she will join Alan whom she missed deeply.
