ANNE GRYBOWSKI (nee PALAHICKY) Passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 16, 2014 at 89 years old, surrounded by the love of her family. She will forever be remembered and missed by many. Beloved "Annie" to her late husband Charles, to whom she was married for 66 years; and loving mother of three children, Bernie (Brenda), Louise, and David (Lizzie). Anne was adored as "Baba" by her five grandchildren, Jennifer (Brent), Lindsay (Freeman), Carly, Charles and LisaIn recent years, she enjoyed watching the antics of five great-grandchildren as well. Anne grew up in Hafford, Saskatchewan. She leaves behind her sisters Vicky (Gary) and Darlene (Jerry) and brothers Michael (Helen) and Orest (Marlene), as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by siblings Mary, William, Dorthy and Teddy. Anne's kindness and generosity touched the lives of many as she worked tirelessly as a homemaker, always opening her door to guests; and later as owner of a Home Hardware franchise. She travelled extensively, was deeply faithful and lived a life full of joy and meaning. A special thank you to the staff at Tansley Woods Retirement Home in Burlington, who provided exceptional care in her last year. We love you, Bubsy! Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., at Windermere, east of the Jane subway, on Thursday, from 4 - 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 3055 Bloor St. W., west of Royal York Rd., on Friday, March 21, 2014, at 2 o'clock.
