Arthur Cook Obituary

COOK, Arthur Charles - Art died suddenly on March 6, 2011 at the age of 75 at his winter home in Florida. Beloved husband of Carol (nee McKay), his wife of 47 years. Cherished father of Peter, Patti and Pamela and father-in-law to Laura and David. Dearly loved grandpa of Meghan, Jonathan and Austin. Born in Kitchener in 1935, he was an alumni of Queen's University at Kingston (Arts '59) before becoming a career employee for Ford Motor Company, rising to Scheduling and Allocation Manager for Canada. Always interested in hockey, he coached youngsters on Erindale teams for 20 years. An avid golfer, Art had a love for travelling the world and spending time with his family and many friends. A 'Celebration of Life' for Art will be held at Michael's Backdoor in Clarkson on Sunday, April 17th from 1-4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, kindly donate to Lupus Canada or your favourite charity.
