BARBARA ANN KENNEDY (nee HOTTOT) October 22nd, 1949-October 26th, 2012 Surrounded in love by her husband, Barbara passed away after a courageous battle with a cancer. Predeceased by her parents, Melanie (Aubut) and Amedee Hottot, siblings John James and Mary, and father-in- law, John Kennedy Sr.. Mother to Maureen MCAllindon, grandmother to Devon, Kayle, and James, and stepmother to John Angus. 'Mommy' to Bailey and Tucker. Barbara is survived by her devoted husband, John Kennedy and will be dearly missed by her brothers and sisters, Raymond Hottot (Carolyn), Alice Neville (Lew), Donald Hottot (Doreen), John Hottot (Deanna), Rita Hottot, and Norma Peters (the late Larry Peters), and by all of her nieces and nephews, and grandnieces and grandnephews. Also remembered by her mother-in-law Mildred Kennedy, and sisters-in-law and brothers- in-law, Floyd and Glenna Kennedy, and Fidel and Ian MCQuistan and their children. Fondly remembered by close friends Mary Courtney, Mary Kennedy, Elaine Boyer, and Scotty, and by all of her co-workers at Bennett-Jones Law Firm in Toronto. Barbara will always be remembered for her strength of spirit, generosity and, "Oh, that laugh"! Special thanks to Rita, Maureen, Mary K., Mary C., and Elaine for their care and support. Thank you also to the home support nurses, and doctors and nurses who cared for Barbara at Princess Margaret Hospital. A visitation at Turner and Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas St. W., Toronto (between Islington and Kipling Aves.) will take place on Thursday November 1st from 6-9 p.m. The funeral mass will take place at Holy Angels Catholic Church, 61 Jutland Rd., Toronto, on Friday November 2nd at 10:00 a.m. with Father Mariusz Wilk presiding. Messages of condolences may be made through Donations in Barbara's memory to Sick Kids Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
