Dear Nancy - I am so shocked and sad to read about Brian's passing. What a sweet man he was. I always enjoyed the annual tortiere parties and his joy in co-hosting with you -and what a wonderful collection of fascinating people Brian introduced us to.I'm so glad I have a couple of his autographed books. You are in my thoughts Nancy. Nina

My condolences to Nancy, his family and all of Brian friends. I had many conversations with Brian on the issues of domestic violence and we often presented together over the past five years. He was the most respectful and passionate man who truly understood the issues and the fight to have the general public and men understand that this issue is a national and international problem. His book WAR on Women is one of the greatest researched and best contribution to our work in many years. I last saw Brian four months ago when we last presented he was wonderful and inspired many people to act. He is sadly missed and I will miss his fun and lively and great mind. My condolences - Brian was part of an after-work group, many years ago, who shared the odd drink, some dancing and conversation - saving Canada and the world, etc. I chatted with him at an event at the North St. Lawrence Market a couple of years ago and reminded him of those Thursday nights. I'm very sorry to read of his passing.
