WALSH, Cheryl - Cheryl will be loved and missed by all those who knew her. She will be remembered for her unique and caring smile. All those who knew her will truly feel the absence of her positive attitude and warm, loving heart. Cheryl passed away as a beloved wife of Michael Walsh, son of Tom and Mary Walsh. Proud mother of Lyssa and Brian Walsh. Cherished daughter of Ross and Flo Brett, sister and aunt to Donald Brett and children. Cheryl was a valued member of the community, helping others through her commitment to her work at Carmen Vanderwater Medical Centre acting as an advocate for the health and well-being of the patients. To celebrate Cheryl's life there will be visitations on Friday, March 8th at W. John Thomas Funeral Home from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A celebration mass will be held on Saturday, March 9th at St. Paul's Church in Alliston starting at 10:30 a.m. followed by a reception in the Father Bennett Hall. A scholarship foundation has been set up in Cheryl's memory to assist local graduating high school students achieve their post-secondary studies. Memorial donations can be made to the Cheryl J. Walsh Foundation. Arrangements entrusted to the W. John Thomas Funeral Home, 244 Victoria St. E., Alliston.
