CLAYTON VICKERS MCKECHNIE Of the City of Vaughan (formerly Thornhill) passed away at home on Sunday, December 16, 2012, in his 86th year. Born in Bentinck Township, Grey County (Durham) on May 25, 1927 to the late Jennie (Vickers) MCKechnie and the late Archibald Wilson MCKechnie. Surviving Clayton, is his cherished wife of 63 years, Donna Lucille (Hatch) MCKechnie. Predeceased by brothers, Gordon and Douglas. Survived by sister, Margaret Sachs of Listowel. Clayton will be greatly missed by his three children and their spouses, Stewart (Rene), Janice (Bill) and Dean (Andrea) along with grandchildren, Chris and Erin, Pamela and Adrianna, and Michael, Scott and Tyler. Clayton enjoyed his six great-grandchildren, Sloane and Vaughan, Nathaniel, Maxim and Weston Clayton and Kyle Clayton. An informal Memorial will be held at Heintzman House, 135 Baythorn Drive, Thornhill, Ontario L3T 3V1, phone 905-889-7980. All are welcome. The event will be on Friday, December 21, 2012 from 2 to 5 p.m. Donations to the CNIB or The would be appreciated.
