WIELHOUWER, Cornelius (Cees) - June 22, 1934 - July 17, 2012 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Cees Wielhouwer at Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital on July 17, 2012 at the age of 78 after many years of failing health. Loving husband of Elisabeth (Bep) of 51 years, caring father to Jeanette Verblac (Victor), Brian (Jill) and Bruce (Fiona). Wonderful Opa to his six grandchildren Viktor, Sarah, Sydney, Jaden, Paige and Sophie. Brother to Ien VanderMale (Bill) in British Columbia and Cora Hormann (Karel) of Holland. Predeceased by sister Miep Touwslager (Auke) in Holland. Cees emigrated from Holland to Whitehorse in 1957 before moving to Hamilton then to Oakville to raise his family. The family is thankful for all the help and support they have received for the last 18 years from his doctor and kidney specialist Dr. Sapir and his staff. Also to the staff and volunteers at both the Oakville and Burlington Dialysis Centres. Visitation will take place at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, 1010 Botanical Drive, Burlington, across from Bayview Mausoleum (905-527-0405) on Saturday, July 21, 2012 from 6-9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel on Sunday, July 22, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. Cremation has taken place and Cees is resting peacefully at Bayview Mausoleum, Burlington.
