DIANA LOUISE CURRIE (nee CARRUTHERS) 1954 - 2012 Diana passed peacefully in the early hours on December 26, 2012 and is now in the arms of her Lord and Saviour. Loving wife of Alastair Currie, devoted mother of Andrew, Sarah and Victoria and caring sister to Anne Taylor and Peter Carruthers (New Zealand), wife Paula, (Alexander and Anna). She will be missed for her compassionate, selfless and courageous heart along with her beautiful smile that lit up the room. Born in Arbroath, Scotland, Diana was a dedicated humanitarian and wonderful hostess who loved entertaining. Friends will be received at the Turner and Porter "Butler" Chapel, 4933 Dundas St. W., Toronto (between Islington and Kipling Aves.), on Wednesday and Thursday, January 2nd and 3rd from 6-9 p.m. Her life will be celebrated on Friday, the 4th, 2 p.m, at Kingsway Lambton United Church located at 85 The Kingsway.
