HAWGOOD, Donald T. - Canadian Olympian It is with great sadness that the family of Don Hawgood announces his passing on Thursday, July 8, 2010 at 4 p.m. at the Toronto Western Hospital. Beloved husband of the late Ruth for 55 years, loving father to daughters Donna Lee Baverstock, Wendy Ruth Hawgood and the late Patricia Anne Slater. Dear grandfather to Regina Ruth Kalmykov and the late Linda Ruth Slater. Don will be greatly missed by family and friends. Funeral Service will be held at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., at Windermere, east of the Jane Subway, on Tuesday, July 13, at 3 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to the start of the service. For those who wish, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
