i first met Fr Ted years ago. he was a relation of mine. before we met i had only heard about him. a relation showed me a photo of him and it was like looking at myself! it was amazing experience! we met a few times in Ireland. spent some time with him in County Dublin and County Wexford. we stayed in contact by letter but lost touch. i recently had a dream in which i embraced a sick old man who i understand to be father. now i hear Fr Ted has passed.

Fr. Ted , Thankyou for standing up for life !!

Well done, good and faithful servant.

You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much.
Enter into the joy of your master.”

Thank God for Fr.Ted. He was merciful. I recall when he visited me when I was in jail , around twenty years ago after I tried to save pre-born babies. He was a great spiritual leader ,as shown when he brought a group of pilgrims, including myself on the Miracle for Life pilgrimage, in 1990, to Fatima--praying the rosary. God reward him. May he rest in peace, joy, and friendship. He will be able to help the ministries a lot more from Heaven. Mary

Thank you, Father Ted, for the lessons you taught us, for the leadership you gave us, and for your faith that you so willingly shared with us. It was a privilege and an honour to have known you, and to have been able to call you friend. We have been truly blessed by your presence in our lives. We will continue to keep you in our prayers. God has now called you home to be with him forever. May you rest in peace, our special gift from God.

Father Ted will be remembered, besides being a good and holy priest, who always demonstrated faithfulness to the Church and obedience, as the Great Pro life- Defender of Life, for the baby in the womb to the elderly who is getting ready to go home.. He lives Blessed John Paul II's words 'Life is sacred as it is from God..'
From Heaven may he give us his courage, his hope, his knowledge that God loves his children... always...
Father Ted .. thank you and from Heaven help us to continue
what you gave your life for.. May God bless you abundantly.

For sure, there is great rejoicing in heaven, as Fr. Ted is now home! Keep them laughing up there, Fr., and help us continue your mission down here - to speak up for life, as you did! We will miss you. M. Bass

Fr. Ted was an inspiration to so many people. A man who had a way with words for sure.

But, even more than his talent, he was a role model of everything good about the Catholic priesthood., generous with his time, patient with the devoted and sinner alike and eloquent in expressing the lessons of the Gospel of the Lord.

Father ted, thank you lord for Fr Ted. he is an inspiration to me. He is one of my most illustrious leaders, leading me right into the jaws of death to protest against abortion, which to me was a supreme delight. oh God thank you for so delightful a barbeque, so perfect a meal so delightful a chef. sharing the same jail cell with him for 42 days,in 1989, counting the spoons, drooling all week long for the steak on wednesdays.of course we prayed the rosary to distract us a little. he was a card to be dealt with. passing him on the street, "oh you were the one who wrote the book, Yes i'd do it again! i was thinking of writing a book too,- When ARe We going to do it again!" he had a smile that was as deep as the stars. he seemed to have never grown up, a real delight to be with. a supreme community guy,an awesome priest in whom i could see the hand of god leading me in no uncertain terms. i could of died and it would have been with supreme delight. where did that leadership go? this one to heaven i'M sure. and it wasn't a slight of hands trick. Thank you God for Fr Ted! Did i say he is a champion prolifer?

May Fr. Ted rest in peace after such a full life, & especially for promoting life so well! I had the great pleasure to meet many times with Fr. Ted, and he was certainly an inspiration for us all, especially for those of us in the Knights of Columbus!

Fr. Ted was really an inspiration. a special soul who stood up for his faith, and belief in the sanctity of life. I remember reading his book 'Yes Lord, I am a Radical'. His involvement inspired me to voluteer in the pro-life movement years ago.It is wonderful to have met such a holy priest, who also so loved the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Rosary. May he rest in peace, as God says, 'Well done good and faithful servant, Enter into the joy of the Lord'.With prayers, Mary Roberts
