BANCROFT-WILSON, Eileen (Tots) - (1923-2012) Eileen was a beautiful, intelligent, strong, loving, athletic, brave woman who passed away peacefully at Hill House Hospice, Richmond Hill on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 in the company of her family. She will be dearly missed by her devoted husband of 65 years, Tim, her son Christopher and his wife Jane Tennyson, her daughter Jennifer and her husband Mike Zbieranek. Dear Granny to grandsons Matthew Williams and his wife Erika Vilmanis, Lawren Bancroft-Wilson, Maclaren Zbieranek and granddaughters Nicole Helsberg, Jessica and her husband Martin Hunter and Robin Bancroft-Wilson. Great-Granny to Parker Williams and Owen Hunter. Also survived by sisters Pauline and Betty. Born in London, England, Tots met and married Tim in Devon. They immigrated to Canada in 1950 and lived at Eaton Hall Farm where she raised her family and worked in the farm office. After retiring, she became an avid golfer and spent five years lovingly restoring their 100-year old farmhouse, Longlands. There, she spent many happy years in her gardens and teaching her grandchildren about the joys of country. Special thanks to Dr. Ajula, Judith and Jan at York Central Hospital Peritoneal Dialysis Clinic. A Memorial Service will be held at the Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora (905-727-5421), on Sunday, March 11th at 1 p.m. In Eileen's memory donations to Hill House Hospice would be appreciated.
