cain, Everett Edward (Ed) - Peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre on January 18, 2013 in his 88th year. Loving husband of Joyce Irene (nee Brown) for nearly 63 years. Predeceased by his brother William Alfred and sister Noreen Elizabeth. Always supportive and loving father of Kerry Elizabeth (Andy) and the late Edward "Teddy" Charles Cain. Dear and caring grandfather of Dawn Adele (Nathan) and Kelly Elizabeth (Matt). Will be missed by all of his nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Ed was born in Moncton, NB and served in the Royal Canadian Navy in WWII. He worked at Bell Canada from the late 1940s until his retirement in the 1980s. He was also an electrician. Ed had many hobbies including beekeeping, he also had a love of music and enjoyed playing his banjo, in which he was self taught. Ed was the Mr. Fix-It of his family, if he didn't know how to do something, he would go to the library, get out the right books and learn. He was very meticulous in everything he did and generous beyond words to his family and friends. In keeping with Ed's wishes, there was no funeral. Interment at York Cemetery has already taken place. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Association for Community Living would be appreciated.
