GUERRINO MONTANERA With sadness in our hearts, but comfort in his release from earthly trials, the family announces the passing of Guerrino on Friday, January 4, 2013 in his 88th year. He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife of almost 60 years, Onelia. He will be cherished by his dear children Walter (Mary Lou), Susan (Egidio Cerro), David and Christina (Michael Sciortino). Proud Nonno of Michael (Katherine), Christopher, Daniel (Jassie), the late Lisa Marie, Sabrina (Michael), Melissa, Sofia, Santo and Michela. Dear brother of Bruno and Carla of Fano, Italy, and predeceased by sister Giuseppina, brother Orlando and brother Angelo. He will be held dear in the hearts of his nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and many friends. The family would like to thank Maple Health Centre and his devoted caregiver, Cora Butad for the wonderful compassionate care they provided. Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Homes Ltd. (8101 Weston Rd., south of Langstaff Rd., 905-850-3332) on Sunday and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 8th at 9:30 am at St. David Roman Catholic Church (2601 Major MACKenzie Dr., east of Jane St.). Entombment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery (on Jane St., north of Steeles Ave.).
