HARRIETTE GALE TOMSON It is with heavy hearts and sadness that the family of Harriette Gale Tomson, known by Gail, announces that she passed away on December 22, 2012 in her home with her husband Richard by her side. Her life over the past four years has brought many health challenges, each of which she was able to overcome by setting goals for herself and achieving them one by one. Her goals included watching her favourite horse compete across the United States, two trips to the west coast and numerous hikes. Her final goal was to spend her last days in Kelowna, British Columbia close to the things that she loved and daughter Caroline Reid and her husband Matt Reid. Even in poor health she was able to finish that final dream. Gail had a wonderful life blessed with many friends and happy memories. Her wishes were to build on this positive energy by asking those who knew her to share her life and memories by attending a celebration of life to be scheduled in the months to come in the Toronto area. So in sadness, but with relief for Gail, we look forward to commemorating her life in many ways. Gail's wishes for family and friends, should they desire, were to make memorial donations to the Kelowna General Hospital Foundation.
