HEATHER ANN SIFTON April 8, 1936 - January 23, 2015 Heather Sifton (nee McLean), a longtime resident of Fox Den Farm, Gormley, Ontario. Heather passed away peacefully at home at the age of 78 years on Friday, January 23, 2015, 20 years to the day after her beloved husband Michael Clifford Sifton. Heather will be lovingly remembered by her 3 sons and their spouses, Cliff (Tara), Michael (Julie) and Derek (Sheila) as well as her brother Bud (Ann) McLean and his sons David (Holly), Morgan (Kelly) and step-brother Graham (Jacqeline) Fry. Devoted Nana to Alexandra, Torie, Michael Jr., CJ, Luke and Tyler. Heather was a graduate of Havergal College and attended the Art College at University of Toronto. She was a staunch supporter of the arts in her roles with the McMichael and the Varley. She was an avid competitive rider and an active member of the aviation community. Heather was a member of the Eglinton Pony Club, the Toronto North York Hunt, Polo For Heart and The Ninety Nines International Organization of Women Pilots. She led a full and rewarding life, always surrounded by a menagerie of pets. The family would like to thank her wonderful caregivers Christy and Angie as well as Dr. Mike Dawson for all their compassionate care. A Private Family Funeral Service has taken place with interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Toronto.
