HENRY VACLOVAS "KOKO" ZIZYS Koko passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at Western Hospital in the presence of his family. Koko had a full and rich life, from a Lithuanian partisan to a Second World War refugee, from an INCO chemist to a MERCK product manager to a business development advisor in Dominica and Montserrat. He was a classical and jazz music aficionado, an art and literature lover, a basketball fan of Kaunas Zalgiris, an early adopter of computers (from MS-DOS to iPAD) and, in particular, a chess expert, one of a small number of people who beat Bobby Fischer. But his greatest passion was his extended, loving family. He greatly contributed to so many, as husband, father, grandfather, mentor, teacher, counsellor and friend. He will be deeply and forever missed by his wife, Maria, his children, Loretta and Tom, his grandchildren, Justin, Claudia, Mike, Aidan, Matt and Anna, and by Mirga with Aleksander and Rima, and Alex Newman, together with numerous other family members and close friends across North America, Lithuania, indeed throughout the world. Thanks to the caring staff at Western Hospital. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 8 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas Street West, Etobicoke (between Kipling and Islington Aves.). Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, October 9, at Church of the Resurrection, 1 Resurrection Road, Etobicoke. In lieu of flowers, the family will collect donations in support of Lithuanian activities. Online condolences may be made through
