LIVINGSTONE, Hillian Frances - December 17, 1911 - June 5, 2011 Hillian enjoyed a long, full and memorable life. Born in Toronto, she was the only daughter of Horace and Florence Livingstone. She is predeceased by both parents and her three brothers and their wives: Fred and Elizabeth, Stan and Jeanne and Harry and Lucille, as well as one nephew Barclay. She is survived by nieces Heather Witko (Nic), Laurie Beattie, Betsy Livingstone-McGraw (John) and nephew Michael Livingstone (Joan) as well as great-nieces Selena, Erika, Cheryl, grandnephew Stephen and great-grandnephews Aaron and Max and many cousins. A professional woman, Hillian began working at Oxford Publishing House. After a long career as Secretary to several Principals and Vice Principals, she retired from East York Collegiate. She was very involved in Church and community activities at Danforth United, Wilmer Hts. and Collier United Churches. She also enjoyed committee and leadership roles at her retirement homes: The Wexford, Mulcaster Mews and Victoria Village Manor. Hillian travelled often to England to visit relatives and to venture about the British Isles and Europe. She travelled across Canada and the USA with her good friends Betty and Gertie as well as family members. Her great loves were family, music and live theatre.
