IRVING DUNDONALD COCHRANE, Q.C. In his 93rd year passed away peacefully at Erin Mills Lodge on Wednesday, May 8, 2013. At his side, holding his hand was his beloved wife of 65 years, Ruth Agnes (nee Colquhoun). Loving father of Kent, Roger (deceased), Peter (Elizabeth), Karen and Jeffrey (Elizabeth). Dear brother of Patricia, Adelina (deceased), Isabella, Doreen, Katherine (deceased), John (deceased), Robert, Norah and Jessica. Cherished grandfather of Melanie, Mark, Kaitlyn, Rachel, Krystal, Matthew, Erin, Shannon and Ashley and great-grandfather of Jack, Emmet, Page, Jessica, Ruth and Jeffrey. A World War II veteran, Irving provided faithful service to Canada over four years in England, Italy and France. He graduated Osgoode Hall Law School in 1950 and practiced in Toronto as an appointed Queens Council Lawyer for 59 years. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter "Peel" Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga, (Hwy. 10, N. of the QEW) on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 4 p.m. If desired donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society would be appreciated.
