IVAN ARTHUR LEWIS LOCKHART RCAF Veteran WWII and former POW at Stalag Luft 3 At the Meaford Long Term Care Centre on Thursday, March 17, 2011, at the age of 90. Son of the late Bert and Ethel (née Strong) Lockhart. Remembered by his beloved wife Shirley of Meaford and three children, their spouses and his five grandchildren: Brett and his wife Amanda of Texas and their children Sterling and Shannon, Bronwyn and her husband Ken Sage of Niagara Falls and their sons Kyle and Corey, and Kevin and his wife Orna of Richmond Hill and their son Logan. Survived also by his sisters Earla and her husband Bob Crossman of Tillsonburg, and Shirley (late Ray) Dawes formerly of Meaford and remembered by many nieces and nephews and their families. Cremation has taken place and a memorial funeral service will be conducted at the Ferguson Funeral Home, in Meaford on Sunday, June 12th at 1:30 p.m. where family will receive friends the hour prior to service. Interment will be conducted at Highland Memory Gardens in North York.
