JACK EDWARD GLOVER Passed away after a long illness with his family by his side on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at the age of 65. Beloved husband and best friend of Ann for many wonderful years. Cherished father of Martin (Jayne), Carolyn Smyth (Brian) and Chris. Devoted Papa and best friend to his grandchildren Sophie, Jack, Charlie and Alexandra and Kristy. Jack will be dearly missed by his sister Lynn (Bill), and brother Ken (Maddy) as well as his nephew, many nieces and his loving companion Bella. He was a long time employee of J.D. Barnes Ltd. where he will be fondly remembered by his colleagues. Jack had a heart of gold and a generous spirit. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Heaven has a new Angel. A special thank you to Dr. Hirte and Dr. Craigie at the Juravinski Cancer Centre and Dr. Fornasier at the Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), Burlington (905-632-3333), on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 from 12 noon until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 1 p.m. Cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Juravinski Cancer Centre Foundation in support of Brain Tumour research would be sincerely appreciated. www.smithsfh.com
