JAMES (JIM) AUSTIN BURNHAM August 28, 1930 - November 1, 2012 "Unable are the loved to die. For love is immortality." Emily Dickinson It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of James (Jim) Austin Burnham on November 1, 2012. James was the loving husband and best friend of Rita Burnham and the much loved father of four children. Jim had a distinguished career in the hospitality industry which spanned two vibrant cities. Jim was a founding member of Les Clef D'or in Canada which enabled him to travel and experience the world. Jim was a man with great drive and determination but he never forgot his roots. He was a friend to all, a quintessential storyteller and had a sense of humour that was always present and dry. Visitation will be held at Skinner and Middlebrook, 128 Lakeshore Rd. East, Port Credit (Mississauga), Ontario from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 4, 2012. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary Star of the Sea, 11 Peter Street South, Port Credit (Mississauga), Ontario at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 5, 2012.
