MCCONNACHIE, Jennifer (Jenny) (Mallette) - Age 62, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle on Wednesday, February 13, 2013, at Toronto East General Hospital surrounded by her family. She is survived by children Jason, Lisa and Steven, grandchildren Mackenzie, Merek, Maguire and Rory, siblings Mary, Catherine, David, Susan and Richard, parents Elisabeth, Karl and Beverley and a large and loving extended family in Canada and the UK. A graduate of Malvern Collegiate, she remained in the Beach neighbourhood to raise her children and grandchildren. Known for her quiet and thoughtful nature, her tremendous style sense, her love of children and family and knowledge of world events, Jenny had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. Family, friends, and those whose lives Jenny touched are invited to a celebration of Jenny's life at the Ted Reeve Community Arena Party Room, 175 Main Street, Toronto, from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, February 24, 2013, to reminisce, grieve, support each other and, of course, just chat. Donations may be made to the Canadian Feed the Children Fund.
