To the Ross family, mom (Phyllis) and I were saddened to learn of Jim’s passing. We speak of him often and many our best memories involve Jim. They worked together at McBee until Jim retired.
We remember him with fondness and for his great sense of humour and laughter.
May he Rest In Peace.

I'm so sorry to hear about your dad. He seemed a man who enjoyed a very full life right until the end - lots of memories to kindle his spirit for years to come! You've all been in my thoughts.

I recall seeing Diamond Jim in action with the Rangers in Madison Square Garden during the '51-'52 season. I believe I got his autograph.
