JOHN RAYMOND LARKE November 25, 1922 - February 19, 2013 Passed away peacefully in his 91st year surrounded by his loving family at Markham Stouffville Hospital. He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Julia, children Scott Larke, Leslie (Ron) Waters, Jennifer Bast and grandchildren Rob, Jennifer, Kyle, Lauren, Jessica and Jordan. Born and educated in Toronto. John served with the Canadian Armed Forces and spent his working career dedicated to educating young adults at Sir Wilfred Laurier and Agincourt Collegiate. "If you rest you rust" was his favourite saying. He never rested and enjoyed a life full of love, happiness and fulfillment. A celebration of his life will be held at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, 8911 Woodbine Ave. (4 lights north of Hwy. 7), Markham, 905-305-8508, on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 2 o'clock. The family will receive friends for visitation at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation (In-patient Rehab) would be appreciated.
