Dear Connie and Family - I was very sad to hear of John's passing. John was a teacher, a man who loved adventure, and a man who loved his family. I remember hearing stories about his kids' childhood antics. I also remember HIS antics at work at PATH and during our China travels. John's joy for life and dedication to others is an inspiration.

Dear Connie and family,

We share your sadness at the loss of John. He has been an outstanding friend, colleague and companion for more than 25 years and we have fond memories of our interactions in Hamilton, Go Home Lake, Seattle and Vancouver/Whistler. He has been constantly in our thoughts as we remember his sense of humour, his inspiring engagement with life in all aspects and his passion that we share for international health.

We are grateful for the McMaster interaction that brought us together at the Father Sean O'Sullivan Research Centre and in our shared commitment to the pursuit of better drug therapy in Canada and internationally.

John will be sorely missed by all of us who knew him and cherished his friendship.

Dear Connie and family, I was so sad to see this news this morning. I have such fond memories of John--I will never forget seeing him turn a cartwheel on the softball field during his stint as a PsychoPATH! He was a wonderful person and made great contributions. My thoughts are with you all.

Dear Connie,

I am sorry to hear of John's passing. It was always a pleasure to work with both you and John in planning his many trips for PATH over the years. When I joined PATH a few years ago, I was sorry to hear he had already left. I missed him then and will continue to miss him now. He had a great sense of humor and a joy for life that brightened my day. May God give you peace during this difficult time and may you find comfort in the memories of good times shared.

Dear Connie and Family
I have just seen this today (January 4th 2012)
Suffice to say that Dr Sellors was a mentor, father, friend and a role model to me
Few people exhibit the patience and thoroughness he had when he taught us in Kenya all about cervical cancer screening and treatment. To date we still use his manuals and tools as a basis for the country program and we sure appreciate him and will remember him fondly
May you experience Gods comfort at this time.

Dear Connie and family it is very sad to hear of John's passing. He was full of life, enjoyed living life, was fun loving and passionate about his work. I met him at the start of my public health career when he used to come to Kenya. Our trips to Western Kenya were always fun with him around. Even when met with challenges he would take it in with stride, calmness and would help get solutions. He greatly contributed to the community component of the cervical cancer program. On behalf of all Kenyan women John touched, I say thank you. Thank you for your support, training, counsel and encouragement. You inspired me and I shall inspire others too. Rest in peace John. Thank you for the hospitality when I came to Seattle. The barbeque red snapper was delicious. May God bless you Connie and family. May he comfort you during this trying time.
