I was looking for the website theoffice.com and stumbled upon Jessica's blog. I read the entire blog from start to finish and I didn't expect to be shaken by something so far away and so long ago (for me), but it did. My deepest condolence, from Germany!

Dearest Julie, Jessica, Jason, Moishe and Tammy:

My heart goes out to all of you for this terrible loss. I did not know Jonathan had been successful in finding a bone marrow donor. How excited and hopeful you all must have been. And yet...and yet...he did not make it through. There are times in families when "mazel" seems to be scarce. This has not been a lucky year. I sincerely hope and pray that the sun starts to shine on you all very very soon,

With a heavy heart....your old friend, Thelma Davidson
