Dear Friends, I am now, at this late date, seeing the news. Ken guested on my TV show, Joyful Sounds in or around 1981 or early 1982. It was a Christian show, and Ken was a delightful guest. I moved to radio in Newmarket in 82, now 41 years ago, and then move (my family and my radio work) to the USA in 1983. Ken sprang to mind last week, and after seaching and searching, I found this.

My belated condolences.

Dear Lorraine and family,
I am sorry to hear of Ken's death and want you to know how vital your friendship and faith has been in my life. I remember Ken saying many times at Bible Study how he looked forward to his new singing voice in heaven and I am smiling at the thought of him singing his heart out - in key! I have discovered Ellel here in Pretoria South Africa and will make a donation in his memory. Love and Prayers, Lou Ann and Graham Young in South Africa

To Lorraine and Family,

We were saddened to hear of Ken's passing. We have many fond memories of him at Thornhill Vineyard. You both always had a smile and encouraging word to give, and were always ready to help someone in need. Thank you for being there for the body of Christ, your family and friends. We will keep your family in our prayers.

I'll miss Ken. He was very influential in my young life, and later on it was always good just to know he was there. With Lorraine, he meant a lot to my late father Mike and to my mother Alice. They often talked about their great trips together.

Although I wasn't a frequent visitor, I always found Lorraine and Ken a very welcoming couple. Lorraine, I hope you'll find comfort in your lovely family and good friends.

Love from all the Bentleys,

Nuala Duncan

Ken, counsellor and mentor to Bill and Nuala. A Godly man of wisdom and compassion. We had wonderful times together - lots of fun and laughter! Our Blythe trips were memorable.

Ken's traits live on in his family and, therefore, Ken will never be forgotten. What a testimony to marriage Ken and Lorraine were. Bill and I love you both very much.
