Leonhard Oesterle Obituary
OESTERLE, Leonhard Friederich, R.C.A., O.S.A. - (Sculptor and Teacher) March 3, 1915 - November 7, 2009 His work is represented in many parts of the world with an extensive collection in his hometown Bietigheim-Bissingen, Germany. A memorial service will be held in Berlin, Germany.

my deepest sympathies to Leonhard's family. He had a formidable influence
on my development as a young sculptor at o.c.a in the 70,s
and he has left me with some profound,
as well as humorous memories. will sadly
miss him on my future visits to Toronto. (i will also not forget the many kindnesses he bestowed upon me as a strugling art student with a young family)
