DARCH, Leslie Alan - B. Comm C.A.; WWII Veteran RCN December 11, 1921 - October 8, 2013 A kind and loving husband, father, grandfather and uncle. He will always be fondly remembered by his wife Gwen (Tennant) of 67 years, his son David (Mary), his daughter Lee Anne (Danny) and his grandchildren, who brought so much joy into his life, Kenneth, James and Gabriel House and Amanda Russell (nee Darch) and his nieces and nephews in the extended Cox, Cooper and Hately families. Predeceased by his siblings Helen Cox, Phyllis Corrin and Albert (Ab) Darch. The family wishes to express sincere gratitude to the dedicated team of workers at Chartwell Trilogy Long Term Care Residence, Dr. Bornstein, the nurses and PSWs for their care and kindness in helping Les deal with the disabilities he suffered after a massive stroke. A funeral service will be held at MCDOUGALL & BROWN "SCARBOROUGH CHAPEL", 2900 Kingston Rd. (east of St. Clair Ave. E.), on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at 11 a.m. Friends and family who wish to remember Les may make a donation to "Scarborough Bluffs Music" (a community based program at Scarborough Bluffs United Church).
