WELCH, Margaret (Woodward) (nee Sedge) - Margaret, our very dear and proud mother, has passed away peacefully at the age of 94, after a lengthy illness, on Monday, December 10, 2012 at Woodhall Retirement Village, in Brampton. Margaret, wife, for 66 years, of Carl Welch, is lovingly remembered by Carl and their four daughters, Laurette Winter (nee Woodward) and Richard, Carol Burak (nee Woodward), Margo Hickland (nee Welch) and Doug, Judith Reid (nee Welch) and Harold. Predeceased by husband Frederick Woodward (1945). Margaret is also missed by her eight grandchildren David, Michelle, Lani, Fred, Rikki, Greg, Rebecca and Devin, and twelve great-grandchildren. A private family gathering will be held at Margaret's request at a later date. The family would like to take this opportunity to thank the wonderful staff at Woodhall Retirement Village, for their compassion and dedicated care to Margaret in her final days as well as in the eight years she lived at the Village. Cremation has taken place. "And just at the moment we say "she is gone", others watching for her, take up the glad shout "look out, here she comes"! "You can shed tears that she is gone, or you can smile because she has lived."
