LEYHANE, Marianne Barbel Wilhelmine (nee Struck) - Aged 70, died in Owen Sound on June 23, 2013. Marianne was born October 12, 1942 in Naugard, Germany, moving to London, England in 1963 where she met and married her first husband Robert. The couple moved to the Bahamas soon thereafter and stayed for six years. Marianne has resided in Canada for the past 38 years, first in Toronto and, upon retirement, moving to Grey County in 2009. Marianne moved through life with grace and sophistication, tempered with quiet determination and strength. She took joy in her deep friendships, enjoyed playing tennis and loved travelling to new places. Most of all, she loved her children fiercely and took great care and pride in being a mother and, later on, a grandmother. Marianne is survived by her partner Jim Halliday, her three sons, Nicholas, Stefan and Mark and her daughters-in-law, Natalie and Karen. She also leaves three loving grandchildren, Camden, Jaden and Lola who will all greatly miss her love and presence in their lives.
